Scott Savitt
Vice President, Operations & Customer Service
Scott has been leading operations and service teams for more than 20 years. He brings operational and organizational excellence to his new role as the Director of Operations & Customer Service, responsible for leading and managing teams in designing and executing strategies while planning to meet Airtex’s supply chain, production and sales support requirements.
Most recently, Scott held the position as vice president of operations at Octane Fitness managing the global service group, sale support, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, purchasing, quality and regulatory and compliance. He joined Octane in October 2005 as director of customer service and also served as vice president of service, where he has significantly grew the service team.
Prior to Octane Fitness, Scott spent seven years at MTS Systems Corporation, Eden Prairie, Minn., in a several roles, including manager of North American field service, manager of factory operations and engineering supervisor. As manager of North American field service, he focused operationally on cost control, service product offerings, process development and revenue growth.
Scott also worked at Microvision Corporation, Chanhassen, Minn., where he served as the project manager of sales application and support, responsible for supporting international sales, including quotations, scheduling, defining engineering/manufacturing criteria and product installation/training. For two years, he was the production manager of manufacturing, where he developed high-tech manufacturing methods and processes for the semiconductor industry.
At Scimed Life Systems, Maple Grove, MN., Scott worked in a key R&D group during a nine-year period of intense corporate growth. He earned a patent on a cardiovascular device and developed quick prototyping methods to minimize time to market.
Scott earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology.
