The Airtex Group, the Minneapolis-based national designer and manufacturer of custom home textile goods and sewn products, has announced that it has formed an Advisory Board of Directors. “Each of our Advisory Board members brings unique leadership expertise that helps us form and implement key strategies. We are fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to strengthen and grow our company,” said Michael Noer, president. The four board members are:

  • Liz Barrere, who most recently led the turnaround at ILLUME, a privately-held home fragrance and beauty company, where as president and CEO she quadrupled revenue and profitability. Before that, Liz directed home product development for Marshall Fields’ department stores, launching several new brands and designer collaborations.
  • Robert Jantschek, CEO of Versare LLC and a partner of Versare Capital, where he is responsible for strategic direction and add-on acquisitions. Before founding Versare LLC, Robert worked for 3M, Graco and Accellent in operations leadership roles.
  • Shay Wyley, recently retired as Managing Director of the Haagen-Dazs International Restaurant business at General Mills, also serves on the Board of Project for Pride in Living, where he chairs the Investment Committee and serves on the Executive Committee.
  • Dan Lieberman, co-owner of Lieberman Companies, Inc., currently leads that company’s American Amusement Arcades and ATM Divisions. Prior to that role, Dan had been President of the Carousel Snack Bars operations, helping to orchestrate its sale to A&W Restaurants.
